Letterpress: Something to Say

Letterpress: Something to Say

In late 2012 the St. Bride Foundation, London, put out a call for letterpress printed responses to the theme of their letterpress symposium. Working closely with Robert Pratley we produced two pieces for the event. The type used includes 12 line DeLittle French Clarendon, a 12 line Elongated Victorian Sans Surryphs wood type and 8 and 16 point Monotype Garamond 156.

Designed and printed by Jamie Murphy and Robert Pratley. These posters were hand inked and hand printed on both an 1851 Hopkinson & Cope Albion Press and a 1960’s Farley Proofing Press at Typoretum, November 2012.
